Our barges

On a Bike & Boat holidays, our floating hotels will follow you along the various stages of the tour, and welcome you back on board in the afternoon, for a hearty dinner and a good night's sleep at your home-from-home. The formula has also proved popular with groups and associations keen for an unusual meeting venue and a holiday with a difference.

The MS Fluvius is a comfortable ship and can accommodate 36 guests. There are a total of 19 cabins (approx. 10 m² = 108 square feet) with a shower and toilet, 2 low beds, air-conditioning, and individual adjustable ventilation system. 3 of these cabins are situated on the upper deck (at an additional supplement) and 16 cabins are on the lower deck. All cabins have a window. Cabins on the lower deck have fixed windows that cannot be opened.  Cabins on upper deck have windows that can be opened.

The cabin deck of the Jelmar was completely renovated during the winter 2006/2007. 10 twin cabins with level beds, washbasin and shower/toilet, and 1 twin cabin with bunk bed and washbasin with private facilities just outside the cabin have been constructed. The well upgraded ship is ready to receive new guests to sail along on the bike- & barge trips as well as group charters.

The meals are being served in the dining room at the upper deck. You can also enjoy your drink at the sun deck. All 12 luxurious cabins on the Lena Maria offer level beds and a beautiful sanitairy section. If you like to sail the luxurious way, this ship is the place to be.

This ship is an ideal accomodation for sailing holidays with a large group. The view from the spacious living room is superb, and when weather permits the sun deck offers a well sheltered sitting area Many guests can be accomodated on this large hotelship. All two person cabins together with two hygienic sanitairy sections you find at the lower deck. As an extra the AMSTERDAM houses a small ships bar, where at evenings you can enjoy your drink.

Already from the year 1897 the Tijdgeest sails with tourists, in the early years as a passenger ship on the river Rhine in Germany. More than 100 years later, in 1998, the ship has been completely renovated and rebuild into a nice hotel boat. At the lower deck you’ll find the air-conditioned cabins, all with private facilities. Cabins have bunk beds. At the upperdeck a very spacious living/dining room with panoramic view. Due to the availability of a WIFI point you have the possibility to use your laptop aboard. A laptop for general use is also available. Newly renovated in 2010.

The Orca is a cozy passenger ship for small groups. The living room has a small bar and a separate seating area. From the living room you have direct access to the foredeck. The upper deck is equipped with luxurious sofas for lounging. From here you have a panoramic view of the surroundings. Seven cabins are equipped with bunk beds, one cabin has a double bed. There are three showers and three toilets on board for sharing.

The Vita Nova, originally named the Tijdgeest was built and launched in 1913. It plied for trade in and around Holland carrying various types of cargos in the winter and pleasure passengers in the summer. The first passengers were members of the Christian church and had to sleep in hammocks slung between the decks. The present owners took over the boat in1996 and after a major refit it has plied for the pleasure routes ever since.

For a wonderful sailing trip you can try the ship Waterland. This cosy passenger ship is ideal for group bookings, but the crew also welcomes the individual traveller. The informal atmosphere aboard makes everybody feels at home quickly. The living has a small bar, at the sun deck all passengers can be seated.

For over many years the ‘tjalk’ JACOB, with skipper Teunis at the steeringwheel, is sailing the Dutch waterways. This ship can accomodate many guests and is “nicely priced”. It is also possible to book the ship for self catering. For groups from schools, youth clubs and families this ship is worth to sail with.

The Angela Esmee can accomodate approximately 80 guests. On board this beautiful vessel are 42 cabins total with an en-suite bathroom which includes shower and toilet. In the salon there is a separate bar and restaurant area. Also, in the front of the ship is a brand new lounge area featuring glass panoramic windows from floor to ceiling. All cabins have 2 single, low beds and central air-conditioning. There are a total of 10 cabins on the upper deck and 32 cabins on the lower deck. The lower deck has 1 single cabin, 27 twin cabins, and 3 quadruple cabins that can be used as triple. The upper deck has 9 twin cabins and 1 quadruple that can be used as triple.All cabins have a window, however only the windows in the upper deck cabins can be opened. WiFi on board (can not be guaranteed!).

The Anna Maria Agnes is a midsized river cruiser that can accommodate 65 guests. Aboard this comfort class barge are 34 cabins, each with shower and toilet (12 cabins above deck -with supplement-, 22 below deck). There are on single and one triple cabins. The salon is spacious with large panoramic windows and is equipped with a restaurant area, a lounge with cozy seating, and a bar. On the large and partially roofed sun deck is a seating area where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea after a day of cycling.

Small and cosy vessel with a nice atmosphere for max. 18 passengers. The barge was partially refurbished and modernized in winter 2012-13. The nice vessel then has 9 cabins in two categories: 5 cabins of type A, with two single beds (next to each other), and 4 cabins type B with bunk beds (1 single bed above the other). All cabins have a private, en suite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. The salon with large windows and a small bar is also your breakfast room and restaurant. The sundeck offers chairs and tables to relax, as well as space to store bicycles.

The Zebra was built in 1955 in Rotterdam. The first years of her life she was sailing as a cargo ship. In 1987, after being totally rebuilt, she started a new life as a passenger ship. The Zebra has a spacious saloon and also a spacious sundeck. Underdeck you find 12 cabins, 11 for 2 persons an 1 for 4 persons. Each cabin is equipped with own toilet and shower an has bunk beds. The whole ship has central heating.
