The Loire à Vélo is the bicycle route that connects Nevers to the Atlantic Ocean, attracting nearly one million cyclists a year. Its 900 km are part of Eurovelo 6, the cycle path that crosses Europe from east to west.

The valley is wonderful, so it’s not surprising that it was chosen as a residence by the kings of France. Among castles, forests and vineyards, easy bike paths alternate with riverside towpaths and low-traffic roads, making for a varied and stimulating ride every time.
