Following the huge renovation works which took place during winter 2023/2024, the Leafde fan Fryslân is now the only four-masted-schooner sailing in Dutch waters. It is bigger and more majestic, with a high comfort level.

Cabins

Beds

Lower deck:

12 twin cabins with single beds of approx. 10 sq. meters
1 smaller twin cabin of about 9 sq. meters
2 single cabins of approx. 7 sq. meters
1 junior suite with separated beds of about 12 sq. meters and a sitting area

In most cabins it’s possible to arrange a double bed, by putting together the two single beds.

Some cabins may also be booked as triple cabins, by adding a third bed (bunk-bed).

Upper deck:

4 new suites of about 15/16 sq. meters, with a double bed formed by two single beds, a sitting area and a double glass door with small private balcony

Common areas

Restaurant

Breakfasts and dinners are served in the elegant dining room in nautical style, located on the lower deck.

Bar and lounge area

On the upper deck you can sit in the salon with TV and large panoramic windows and enjoy a drink at the bar, while looking at the landscape passing by.

Sundeck

On the spacious sundeck you can enjoy sailing and spend relaxing moments when the weather is nice.

Food and beverages

Onboard kitchen

Breakfasts, packed lunches and dinners are normally provided. The kitchen offers international cuisine.

Drinks are always extra and have to be paid separately. On board only cash payments (€) are accepted.

Bike and barge

A vacation by the sea, where you cycle during the day and stay overnight in the floating hotel that follows cyclists stage by stage.

The cabin will be yours for the whole week, so you don’t have to pack and unpack. And if one day you don’t feel like cycling…you can stay on board and enjoy the sailing!
