The roads are generally paved and low traffic, except in the high season. Each day you can decide whether to ride independently, using the maps provided, follow one of the guides or stay on board and relax.
The itinerary and schedule for some days vary depending on the comfort you choose.
Accommodation
Overnight accommodations are provided aboard an elegant and comfortable motor boat. The spacious common areas include a beautiful salon, a deck where you can relax and sunbathe, and a restaurant, which offers a wide variety of authentic dishes. The cabins are spacious and have private bathrooms and air conditioning.
1. Embarkation in Omišalj on the Island of Krk and sailing to Cres.
Individual arrival in Omišalj on Krk Island and embarkation between 14:00 and 14:30. Around 15:00 the boat sails to the island of Cres. In the evening there is time for a walk in the center.
2. From Cres to Martinšćica by bike and then sailing to Lošinj
After a nice breakfast all in the saddle…it’s time to start pedaling! Your tour starts from Martinšćica. The long and narrow shaped island of Cres is characterized by dense primordial forest vegetation and its rugged coastline. The boat awaits at the end of the ride to set sail for the island of Lošinj. There is certainly no shortage of opportunity for a few dips in the crystal clear sea before docking in Mali Losinj. Stroll through the harbor, which teems with tourists and stalls selling local products in summer. From the main square, the view sweeps over the cliff in front, giving you a wonderful glimpse.
3. From Mali Losinj to Veli Losinj and sailing to the Island of Molat
We set off again to discover the southern part of the island of Losinj, among picturesque and little-visited bays, to the port of Veli Losinj (Lussingrande): the atmosphere is that of an island in the Venetian lagoon. Its center is a veritable jewel in miniature, with colorful houses and small fishing boats moored in front of St. Anthony’s Church. Have lunch on the boat and then reach the island of Molat. Here another short ride awaits you to discover this land of fishermen and farmers, a corner of paradise far from mass tourism
4. From Molat to Dugi Otok and en route to Zadar
Today’s day starts with sailing to Long Island, Dugi Otok, the largest in the Zadar archipelago. From the small port of Bozava, pedal to the northernmost point of the island, where you will find the Veli Rat lighthouse, which gives you a unique view. Continue to the port of Savar i Bribinj, where you have time for a swim. Finally reach Zadar, the historical and cultural center of Dalmatia.
*If you chose Platinium comfort, the bike leg will be 48 km.
5. The island of Pag, among olive trees and helichrysum, and docking on the island of Rab
After a morning crossing, we reach the island of Pag. We cycle through the harsh yet delightful landscape, passing fig and olive trees along the way. Starting in Mandre, we cycle on the narrow peninsula until we reach the sea once more in Lun. From here, the ship takes us to Rab Island, one of the sunniest places in Europe. The town of Rab, the fortified capital of the island, undoubtedly one of the highlights of the trip. There is plenty of time to explore the narrow alleys with their numerous cosy cafés in the evening.
*If you chose Platinium comfort, the bike leg will be 20 km.
6. Rab, the sunniest island in Europe, and return by boat to Krk
The morning is dedicated to discovering the Island of Rab. Start cycling along its eastern coast, surrounded by a lunar landscape, until you reach one of the few sandy beaches in Kvarner. The boat awaits you in the old town of Rab, to set sail for Krk, known as “the golden island,” thanks to its fertile soil. We spend the evening in the town of the same name, amid the architecture of its quaint old town.
7. The island of Krk: from Vrbnik to Omisalj
Enjoy the last leg on the pedals in the fascinating territory of Krk Island. Through fragrant Mediterranean scrub, pedal over the island’s hills until you reach a valley covered in vineyards, and finally the museum town of Vrbnik, home of the white wine Zlahtina. Continue through rich vegetation, among ancient villages, to Omišalj, where your boat welcomes you for the last night.

Embarkation
Embarkation is scheduled between 2 PM in Omišalj (Krk island). Here you will meet the tour leader and other participants.
How to get there
Omišalj is the starting point of the tour to be reached independently.
Before departure we will send you the exact boarding point.
By plane
Omišalj cannot be reached easily by plane. Rijeka is the nearest airport just 5 km from your boarding location, but there are no direct flights.
The other major airport is in Zagreb.
From Zagreb airport (ZAG):
- direct bus Pleso Prijevoz to Zagreb bus station. From here bus Autotrans (Arriva) with 1 change in Rijeka, and then to Omisalij (approx. 4 hours). Then you can walk to the port.
For an overview of prices, airlines and flight schedules we suggest rome2rio.com or Google Maps, which also show options via train or bus, even for the last mile. For reliability and security, we recommend purchasing your flight on the official website of your chosen airline.
By car
The car is the most convenient way to reach Omisalj. In Slovenia to drive on highways and freeways you need to purchase a highway vignette, available at all truck stops and gas stations before the border.
You can leave your car for the duration of the tour at the paid parking lot near the meeting point, which must be reserved before departure.
Transfer
It is possible to book a transfer from Zagreb (airport or city centre) or from Rijeka to the embarkation point.

Even if you don’t need a passport for border checks within the Schengen area, it is still always highly recommended to take a passport or ID card with you.
If you are a non-EU national wishing to visit or travel within the EU, you will need a passport:
- valid for at least 3 months after the date you intend to leave the EU country you are visiting,
- which was issued within the previous 10 years
- and possibly a visa
You should apply for a visa from the consulate or embassy of the country you are visiting. If your visa is from a Schengen area country, it automatically allows you to travel to the other Schengen countries as well.
Do not forget your travel, health and/or car insurance documents.

Tour programme variations
- Due to organisational reasons, weather conditions or provisions issued by local authorities, the itinerary may be subject to some changes before and/or during the holiday.
- Issues with high and low water, as well as logistic obstacles such as officially ordered – previously not announced – repair work on locks or bridges can modify some of the daily stretches or overnight stays and may even request a transfer by bus. These decisions are only taken by the boat’s captain.
Travel insurance
- It is advisable to take out an insurance policy against expenses arising from cancellation of the tour package, accidents, luggage (loss and damage), as well as a contract covering expenses in case of repatriation. Insurance policies are not included in the tour package offered by the operator.
